Before going back to Japan, we had one day to do some sightseeing and
shopping in San Francisco.
First we rode the famous San Francisco Cable Car which was built in 1873. It
was fun to watch the conductor drive the car.
Then we had clam chowder in a sour dough bread bowl, a famous local food at
Fisherman’s Wharf. It was delicious.
We also went to Lombard Street, the curviest street in the world.
After that, it was time to buy souvenirs for our friends and family at Union
Square.
Tomorrow we will go back to Japan. We are sad to leave America, but we can’t
wait to see our friends and family and share our experiences in
Mckinleyville High School!
